- Golfers must at all times be aware of the presence of ground staff and ensure:
- (a) If the flag has been removed from the green, the green is deemed to be out of play.
- (b) When a golfer or ground staff member is within range, golfers must wait to be called to play by the golfer or ground staff
- The courses and either of them will be closed after consultation between The Manager and the Course Superintendent
- Decisions to alter the style of play (including preferred lies, tee up, banning buggies, etc.) will be made after a meeting between the Course Superintendent and The Manager
- Lady Members will always be bound by Course decisions in respect to playing conditions, however, when preferred lies apply they may approve tee up but they cannot reduce a condition e.g. change tee up back to preferred lies or approve buggies if a ban exists
- The WGV requires a formal notice of any position change of Ladies' tee markers exceeding nine metres from official WGV markers
- The Gold tees will be used by Men and the Green tees will be used by Ladies for:
- (a) all monthly medals
- (b) all rounds of Club Championships (including Junior Championship)
- (c) all rounds of Foursomes Championship
- (d) all rounds of Mixed Foursomes Championship
- (e) semi final/final rounds of Captains Trophy
- Flag colours as follows will be used to identify the pin placements:
- (a) Red - back
- (b) Yellow - centre
- (c) Blue - front
- The houses which abound the course are private property. No entry is permitted beyond the out of bounds stakes
- All ground beyond the Club's boundary fence and areas marked by white stakes with black tops, are out of bounds
- When playing the St John 2nd hole, the fairway and rough of the 4th hole is out of bounds
- When playing the St John 11th hole, the area above and to the left of the cliff face is out of bounds
- When playing the St John 9th hole, the fairway and rough of the 8th hole is out of bounds
